Easter isn't so nice for non-human animals, so now's the time to do some vegan outreach.

Please feel free to download this and print and distribute it -- as long as you don't use it for profit, and you use it for vegan purposes, it's yours for the taking. If you do use it, please let me know so I know it's been useful to folks! (And if you have criticisms or suggestions for how to make it better, let me know that too.) Thanks.

Southdown sheep , a chunky short wooled animal, is one of the oldest purebred sheep in the world. It originated on the slopes of England’s chalk hills, the “Downs” of Sussex.

They were known to be the best mutton sheep in the world, adaptable to any climate and style of farming. The ewes make excellent mothers and are prolific breeders, frequently producing twin lambs. Southdowns were brought to the British colonies as early as 1640. By 1900 the Southdowns were the most widely distributed sheep in the world.
