No image trickery here, there were two black cats on the hood of a Chrysler Neon.
This is a shot from my first exposure tests with the EF 28-135, and in this case +2 EV compensates for the mostly white backdrop -- which is, by the way, the trunk of a Fiat car -- and lets us see more fur detail without loss of dynamic range caused by post-processing exposure adjustments.
