Family of three ducks out for a swim on Quail Lake in Colorado Springs, CO today. This white duck never leaves the lake, and doesn't fly either. Most of the time he is all alone, by himself, trying to stay out of the fishermen's fishing lines so carelessly left all over the place, and away from the foxes in the neighborhood. It's unknown what nightly dangers he faces.
I suspect someone left the duck, which was once a family pet, at the lake. Every year there are one or two that are left to fend for themselves. Donald and Daisy were left a couple of years ago, and finally got rescued and taken to a farm to live out their lives. This lone white duck is left alone, and doesn't ever fly anywhere, so he may be unable to fly for whatever reason.
