Not sure if these are really cats; think they're just posing at cats as it suits them. Entirely Minky, with hand-painted safety eyes. The tail makes them into quite the stable tripod; they're fabulous at standing unsupported. Arms are also jointed and wired. There's a little heart on the rear as well, more photos on Etsy, don't want to spam Flickr stream.

Size: 5" tall by about 4" across.

Marmalade, my sore-bottom bear

Meet Marmalade, my "sore-bottom" bear!

I recently had surgery to remove a cyst from my lower back, and it's taking a long time to recover. I can't leave the house very often, and it still hurts a bit to sit down or lay on my back.

My mom found this little teddy bear at a garage sale about a week ago and gave him to me as a commemoration of my "sore-bottom days." I love his slightly grumpy expression, just as if he had a sore bottom too!

On the Hunt

I said to Lapin that there was NO treasury in my walls yet he wanted to check. So Lapin is now on the hunt for treasuries, poking some holes in the plastic sheets.... Bad Lapin!!!

Varen

Some monsters want to grow up to scare people, others lurk in closets and hide...but Varen just wants to help other monsters. He is super-interested in making monsters feel better and brightening everyone's life. Now he hopes to make some new friends who dont mind if he isn’t the typical scary monster.

Glum Ninjas C.P.F. is a covert protection force for people who want inconspicuous protection. They disguise themselves as run-of-the-mill stuffed animals and keep a watchful eye, waiting to spring into action at the first sign of danger.

When browsing Flickr, I found a photo of the cutest stuffed owl from Starbucks by emilybean. I created a pattern for the owl and made a paper-pieced poster. I’m obviously no artist, but it’s been called “cute” by staff members and students in the library, so I think I’ll keep it!

The pattern to make your own paper-pieced poster of this owl is available HERE.

Shortly after posting this photo I found the actual plush owl from Starbucks on eBay and bought it for myself. My photo can be seen HERE. I also have THIS photo.

Umplee

Sometimes it’s hard for a Moose Princess, and so Umplee always has to demand to get her way. It seems that in Moose land, no one understands that pink is the coolest color in the whole forest, and everyone is always surrounding her in browns and greens. Ugh - Earth tones! So now Umplee is hoping to find a new friend who knows how to glam it up like royalty and who loves anything pink.

Feeday
plush animals
Feeday knows how to break boards with his head. You might think that this is common among monsters, but not really. It seems even the grestest monsters need to train for years in karate just to break a board...and Feeday is still working on his skills. He is looking for a friend who also knows how to chop, kick and bow like a true ninja.

RoRo

RoRo always found the other owls amusing. As they would fly around and hoot and holler all night, he would wisely sit back and wait in a nice high tree and watch. He knew that being patient, and analyzing all of the efforts and rabble rousing of the other owls could lead to him making one great catch. And most nights, his wise ways led him to the top prize. Now he is looking for a new friend who can be his top prize and help him wisely snuggle and nap, until night comes...
