Dead ducks

My friend Sally shot these four ducks with a 12-bore yesterday. Before you all complain, she and Ben live in the country, source real local meat for the wonderful pub they own, and hunt legally from sustainable stocks. She's also a good shot.
I also ate a stew that had three squirrels in it today (delicious), and saw a Buzzard kill a woodpigeon on the road near the pub.
Not a good day from the point of view of vegetarians, or those who can't accept that in the real world animals (including us) kill other animals.
My apologies if this upsets you. I very much respect vegetarians and those with good and considered reasoning for hating the killing of animals. That said, please don't hate me for enjoying meat. I have to admit I'm no fan of hunting though, but the composition and colour of these ducks are still beautiful to me somehow.

The goal in Mondo is to construct a world from these tiles, with as little mismatches as possible. All tiles are double-sided with one solid terrain one one side and a mix of terrains, animals and volcanoes on the other.

Deer at the park, there are many, they run wild in a tight area. Today they were very skiddish probably because people have headed outdoors lately in the warmer weather, mid 60s lately. There are 5 ears in this shot. Listening for the crunch of feet.

The last three segments on the wheel are the harvest segment. Everything here is ripe to become animal feed.
But where are the wings?

Kapama had recently bought one of the adjoining farms and taken down the fences to expand the game park.
Obvious this become a good spot for the big herd animals as they could graze more easily and spot predators coming at them.
It was also interesting to note how they arranged themselves with the older bigger members or the herd on the outskirts forming a bit of a circle of protection and keeping a watchful eye.
The ranger said this kind of area would take about 20 years to return to about 80% of it's natural state and about 40 to be at about 99% as it used to be.
